SG-1 discovers that their trip through the Stargate may have inadvertently doomed an entire civilization, and plead with the Asgard for assistance.

SG-1 emerges from the Stargate after a rough ride to an alien world. Carter tells Colonel O'Neill that they had to bypass some of the normal dialing protocols in order to get a lock on this planet -- K'Tau, a peaceful, agrarian world populated by a very spiritual people. The locals have developed from an ancient Norse people, and worship the benevolent Asgard as gods.

K'Tau, in fact, is an Asgard-protected planet -- named in the same treaty as Earth, in order to protect it from the Goa'uld ("Fair Game").

SG-1 soon realizes the reason for their rough ride through the wormhole. The K'Tau sun shifts toward the infrared end of the light spectrum, threatening to destroy all life on the planet. While the local leader, Elrad, consults the god Freyr (along with Malchus, a spiritual leader who is skeptical of the outsiders), Major Carter tries to get to the bottom of things.

O'Neill and Jackson accompany Elrad and Malchus, and are transported to an underground cavern where they are greeted by a holographic projection of "Freyr," a mighty Norse warrior. While the recording is vague and not specific to their situation, Malchus believes that the arrival of the "evil" visitors has signaled the beginning of Ragnarok -- the Norse version of Armageddon.

Back on the surface, Carter fills in the team on her theory. It's possible, she believes, that the wormhole created by the Stargate passed right through the K'Tau sun. A superheavy element piggybacked on the wormhole and bonded with the sun ... leading to its imminent destructon.

SG-1 is on their own. The only way that Carter can think of to stop the process is to introduce an element with an atomic weight above 200 into the sun, rendering the foreign matter inert. She returns to the SGC to begin work on a plan to deliver "Maclarium" -- a superheavy element created in a lab on Earth -- into the K'Tau sun, using a rocket that the Air Force was planning to launch from nearby Vandenburg Air Force Base in a few weeks. Over the course of the next three weeks, the rocket is brought through the gate in pieces and reconstructed.

All in all, viewers should keep in mind that the Stargate's tendency to know exactly when the last person has stepped through and close behind him (rather than always staying open for 38 minutes) is a creative decision on the part of the producers, and may never be explained technically. The fact that the wormhole disengages right after someone goes through obviously does not mean that their atoms were scattered across the cosmos.

NOTES
The margin of error in calculating planetary shift (necessary to find a valid Stargate address on the millenia-old network) use to cause the rough ride through the wormhole, but the SGC has since fixed it.

The Stargate system has a safety protocol built in, to prevent a wormhole from passing through a star (and presumably, other dangerous interstellar bodies). But this can be bypassed -- at least with the supercomputer that the SGC has rigged to control Earth's gate.

Freyr is the Norse god of sun and rain. He is also apparently on the Asgard High Council.

The superheavy element "Maclarium" (a word coined by Samantha Carter) is named for its pioneer developer, Dr. MacLaren. Its scientific designation is HU-2340, and it does not exist naturally on Earth.

This isn't the first SG-1 role for Brian Jensen, who voiced Freyr in this episode. He played the Jaffa high priest back in Season One's "Bloodlines."

Sun

Often men can project their moon onto some women instead of recognizing that they too have a lunar nature, while women can forgetthat they are anything but the mothering, nuturing moon. The lesson from astrology is that we are all our planets, and achieving wholeness requires that we recognize all of our chart.

Mercury

Mercury represents the concretely intellectual part of your personality, the functioning mind. Mercury represents communication and the day to day activity of the intellect. Mercury rules short-distance communications and learning. Mercury rules both Gemini, where synthesis is the key, and Virgo, where analysis is the key. mercury can indicate the manner in which you think, but not the level of your intelligence.

Venus

Venus can be said to represent "love" and is often paired with Mars in a polarity: The symbol for Venus is the standard biological symbol for female, and the glyph for Mars is the symbol for male. Venus shows are ability at relating to others, and the nature of the desire. Venus can indicate the type of people we are attracted to, or the nature of our sense of attraction. It rules close partnerships and also marriage. Venus is associated with the Descendant of the chart. Venus is the ruler of both Taurus and Libra.

Mars

Mars represents our active energy, the way we go out and get what we want, which can be determined by, amoung other things, Venus. The characteristics of Mars in the birth charts shows the nature of our energy flow. Mars rules both the outer-directed Aries and the inner-directed Scorpio. Mars takes two years to circle the sun, and so we see all faces of mars many times in our life. Mars is considered a "personal" planet, because it tells something about the way we are as individuals.

Jupiter

Jupiter is the first of the so-called "social planets." People born within a one-year period will share the same sign position of Jupiter. This planet show how the socialization process works within us. The urge of the Jupiter principle is to expand; without limits, such as those provided by Saturn, Jupiter would expand without limits, filling the Universe, and, on a more human level, gow fat and expend money without limit. Jupiter rules both Sagittarius and Pisces, lending a religious nature to both signs.

Saturn

Saturn is the second of the two social planets, and it is often paired with Jupiter. Saturn often gets a bad rap as the bogy man of the planets, but it is extremely important. Saturn helps us focus and defnie limits; without Saturn, Jupiter would expand withoout limits (a good Saturn word), whereas without Jupiter, Saturn would contract us to a point. Saturn takes about 30 years to go around the sun, and its positions vis a vis its natal positions represent major turning points in our life. Saturn can also bring a sense of limitation and dispair to our lives. Saturn rules the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius.

Uranus

Uranus is the first of the three transpersonal or generational planets. It moves so slowly -- requiring 84 years to go once around the sun -- that it tells more, unless configured to one of the personal planets or points, about the generation one was born into than the nature of the person. Uranus represents the process of individuation, and can manifest itself as independence, rebellion, revolution or eccentricity. Uranus rules the sign of Aquarius, giving Aquarius the individualistic nature it is known for. Uranus was discovered between the American and French revolutions, certainly good symbols for the Uranian principles.

Neptune

Nepture is another transpersonal planet, taking 168 years to circle the sun. Neptune represents the spiritual or mystical side of ourselves. It is the sensitive planet. At our level of development, Neptune often manifests itself in illusions, vagueness, wooley thinking and the use of drugs such as alcohol. The discovery of Neptune took place at about the same time as the discovery of ether in the rise of spiritualism. Neptune rules Pisces. Even from its name, we can tell that Neptune is a watery planet, and is important in religious people as well as performers.

Pluto

Pluto is the slowest moving of the known planets, taking 248 years to circle the sun, so no one can experience all the sign positions of Pluto. Pluto seems to best represent the different generations, so that we have the "baby-boomer" generation born with Pluto in Leo (1939-1958) and the so called "generation X' born with Pluto in Virgo (1958-1973), as well as yet unamed generations born with Pluto in Libra and Scorpio. In 1996 Pluto moves into Sagittarius, and another generation starts. In natal charts, Pluto can represent deep (and often hidden) forces, changes and transformations. A strong Pluto can lead to obsessive or compulsive behavior, or involvent in occult activities or depth psychology. Pluto rules the sign of Scorpio. Pluto was the only major planet discovered in the XXth Century, and about the time that expreiment laid the basis for the development of the atomic bomb and atomic power.

Node

The North Node of the Moon has several meanings, depending on what school of astrology you follow. In the traditional meanings, the north node refers to a location for intake of the psychic and physical substance you need to maintain life, while the south node is the point where excesses of those substances are expelled. If one node is working well and the other is blocked it can lead to either psychic constipation of lack of nutrition. Both are needed. In the cosmobiological school, the nodes collective refer to a point of contact with those who are close to us, if not necessarily in a physical sense. The word "karma" is sometimes associated with this connection.

Ascendant

The Ascendant -- also called the rising sign -- represents the mask we wear to face the world. Traditionally the ascendant was considered the most important point in the chart, but since it can not be known without an accurate birthtime, the sun became much more prominent. The ascendant -- the point where the sun rises in the east -- represents the defense mechanisms we develop to face a hostile, non-understanding world. It also is how other people first see us, before they come to know us and the various personality forces represented by the planets. Some people tend to identify with their ascendant, forgetting that it is only a facade and not the real person. The ascendant also colors the way we see the outer world, so that two people with different rising signs will experience the same event differently.

Midheaven

The Midheaven represents our true self, that part of us that we can feel observing our mundane activities. The midheaven -- the highest point the sun reaches in its diurnal cycle -- is not given nearly as much attentions as the ascendant, even though it is at least as important, and arguably more important. The midheaven also depends on the time and location of our birth, but unlike the ascendent it does not depend on the latitude. It also represents the individual or ego-consciousness. It has been said that the ascendant represents the ego in the Freudian sense, while the midheaven represents the ego in the Jungian sense. In some ways the midheaven is closer to who we really are than the ascendant. The midheaven - also called the MC for the Latin Midium Coeli which means middle of the sky -- also stands for our career or calling, and how the outside, impersonal world see us. The career is what we do to make a living, while the calling is what we have to do.

Kislev: The Month of Dreams

In the Torah portions read during the month of Kislev, we find most of the dreams mentioned in the Torah. Throughout the five books of the Torah, we find ten explicit dreams (dreamed by seven "dreamers") all in the Book of Genesis. The first dream of Avimelech, King of Gerar, appears in the Torah portion of Vayeira, read in the month of Cheshvan. The other nine dreams appear in the Torah portions of Vayeitzei, Vayeishev, and Mikeitz, all read during the month of Kislev. According to the well-known Torah principle that one should "live with the times" (namely, with the weekly Torah portion), the topic of dreams would be a proper meditative subject during the month of Kislev. During this "month of dreams" one should strive to examine and clarify in one's soul the topic of "the dream," to plumb the depths of its roots in the soul, and to solve its riddle in a good and proper fashion.

Each month is associated with a particular gemstone from among the 12 precious stones embedded in the High Priest's breastplate. The gemstone of Kislev, the ninth month (which corresponds with the nine dreams as mentioned earlier), is the ninth stone of the breastplate?the amethyst (achlama in Hebrew). In his Book of Hebrew Roots, the Radak explains that the root of Achlama is chalam ("dream"), and "whomever wears one (an amethyst) on one's finger will very likely see dreams."

We note that the principal Torah figure connected with dreams?both as dreamer and as dream interpreter--is Joseph the Tzaddik, nicknamed (by his brothers) "the master of dreams." The four dreams preceding those of Joseph--the dream of Avimelech, Jacob's first and second dreams, and the dream of Lavan--were transparent and did not need special dream interpretation. In these dreams, God, or an angel, appears to the dreamer and directly reveals information. In contrast, the final six dreams?the two of Joseph, the two of Pharaoh's ministers, and the two of Pharaoh?require interpretation, having become "enclothed" in the imaginative faculty of the dreamer's soul, and appearing in the form of an allegory and riddle.

Yet, the solution to Joseph's dreams--the prostration of his brothers' sheaves, and the sun, moon and eleven stars to him--is relatively transparent. Without need for interpretation, both his brothers and his father Jacob understood that the meaning of the symbolism of Joseph's dreams was that they were to come and prostrate themselves before Joseph. Jacob wonders saying (Genesis 37:10-11), "Do you want me, your mother, and your brothers to come and prostrate ourselves on the ground to you?" Nevertheless: "his father waited to see the result."

From this it is clear that just as Joseph, "the Tzaddik, foundation of the world," is "an intermediary that connects" the spiritual and physical realms (in the secret of the verse recited in our daily morning prayers: "even everything in heaven and earth"--translated as, "that is in hold of heaven and earth"), he also is "an intermediary that connects" the transparent dreams which do not need solutions and enigmatic dreams which need interpretation (the latter stemming from a higher source, since enigmatic dreams are an expression of God's essence manifested in the ability to sustain paradox, as will be discussed later).

Mental and Physical Health

Another form of the Hebrew root chalam is hachlama, which means "health" in general (both mental and physical) and "recovery" from illness in particular. In thanking God after being sick and recovering, King Chizkiyahu prays (Isaiah 38:16), "restore me [from the root chalam] and make me live." Naturalists have explained that the appearance of a dream in one's soul is similar to the phenomenon of a sick person "sweating" in that sweating is the separation and secretion of waste from what is wholesome. This process is one of the first signs that the sick one is on the path to recovery.

Though, the "separation of waste products" is certainly an important external property of the dream, at a deeper level, the dream serves to reveal in one's soul God's light, providence and will. In general we find that the presence of evil or "waste products" prevents Divine revelation and that the separation from evil elicits Divine revelation, as in the verse (Genesis 12:14), "After Lot left him, God said to Abram." Rashi explains, "as long as the wicked one resided with him, God's word was separated from Abram."

Because of its "healthy" nature, the inner yolk part of the egg is called chelmon (from the root chalam, meaning health or recovery), as in the verse (Job 6:6), "Is there any task in the yolk of an egg" The outer, "white" part is called chelbon, from the root chelev ("fat"), as in the verse (Leviticus 3:3) "The fat that covers the inwards." The yolk reflects the aspect of the "inwards," hinting in the soul to the idea in the verse (Psalms 64:7), "for the inward thought of man, and the heart, is deep." It is at this level that the dream manifests. Similarly, the yolk reflects the level of "light that illuminates to itself" in contrast to the "white" part, representing "the light that illuminates to another." This inner-outer distinction is also noted in the light of the sun itself (the vector force of the light within the core of the sun is directed inwardly). Thus, the dream reflects the inner, hidden light in the soul, the light that shines to itself, which is the source of mental and physical health.

Hebrew Month of Kislev

The Hebrew calendar has two new years and Kislev is the ninth year of the ecclesiastical year and the third of the civil year. It is equivalent to the period of November to December of the Gregorian calendar. Kislev is also known as the month of dreams.

Kislev: Trust and Hope

Unlike the Gregorian calendar that adds one day to the calendar every four years, the Hebrew calendar adds a month with 29 days based on the moon's revolution around the earth. This explains why the Hebrew calendar has 13 months during the leap years. The Hebrew calendar starts the day when the sun sets not when the sun rises as with the Gregorian calendar.

Kislev marks shorter days and longer nights and this has a symbolic meaning for the Hebrews; after the dark, there is light, hence, one must trust and hope. From the context of the Torah or the five books of Moses, several portions of the books mention ten dreams that reveal God's promises if His will is obeyed. Diseases and the threat of death disappear when the dreamer turns to God and repents. These dreams are read during Kislev to mark a period of spiritual self-evaluation and renewal.

The month signals the coming of Hanukah or Festival of Lights which celebrates an event that occurred two hundred years before the Common Era. Accordingly, King Antiochus wanted to convert all the Jews to the Greek religion but the Jews rebelled and were able to drive away the Greek soldiers. The victors wanted to restore the temple but only had enough oil to light the temple for one day. Miraculously the oil lasted eight days giving the people enough time to make new oil.

Kislev Symbol and Sign

If the western world has the Zodiac sign, which has its roots in Babylonian divination, the Hebrew calendar also uses symbology. Kislev is assigned the letter Sameh, which means to support and uphold, which speaks again of trust and hope and the Sameh symbology would be Sagittarius of the Zodiac featuring a centaur with a bow.

The Sameh symbol shows a bowman with a drawn bow with the arrow drawn backwards. It symbolizes trusts that it will fly when released. The lack of trust leads to worries and troubles in one's personal life and even disease. One must trust with his whole heart on the Divine support.

The Essence of Kevlar

Sleep, dream, and trust. These require the believer to rest when weary and to look inwards to assess the inner senses and to trust in Divine Support that spiritual or physical recovery will be his. In everyday life, believers have to do everything appropriate in work and their personal lives to be able to rest mentally and spiritually - which is the meaning behind Kevlar, which paves the way to Hanukah.

From darkness to light. The spiritual sleep plunges one to the depth of the darkness but there is nothing to fear because the light will shine, a manifestation of the Divine's unfailing love and support. The spirit reawakens to renewed spiritual strength.

Clarke's Commentary on the Bible

In the eleventh year - was the house finished - It is rather strange that this house required seven years and about six months to put all the stones and the timbers in their places, for we have already seen that they were all prepared before they came to Jerusalem; but the ornamenting, gilding, or overlaying with gold, making the carved work, cherubim, trees, flowers, etc., must have consumed a considerable time. The month Bul answers to a part of our October and November, as Zif, in which it was begun, answers to a part of April and May.

The dedication did not take place till the following year, the twelfth of Solomon, because then, according to Archbishop Usher, the jubilee happened.

So was he seven years in building it - Properly seven years and six months; but the Scripture generally expresses things in round numbers.

Diana's temple at Ephesus was one of the seven wonders of the world. It is said that almost all Asia was employed in the building of it for about two hundred years; but it was certainly more extensive than the temple at Jerusalem, for it may be justly questioned, notwithstanding the profusion of gold, silver, precious stones, etc., employed in the temple of Solomon, whether it cost any thing like the money expended on the temple of Diana.

Pliny informs us, Hist. Nat., lib. xxxvi., cap. 12, that, in order to build one of the pyramids in Egypt, no less than three hundred and sixty thousand men were employed for the space of twenty years. But neither was the temple any such work as this. We may also observe that the temple was never intended to hold a vast concourse of people; it was only for the service of the Lord, and the priests were those alone who were employed in it. The courts, chambers, and other apartments, were far more extensive than the temple itself; it was never designed to be a place to worship in, but a place to worship at. There God was known to have a peculiar residence, and before him the tribes came, and the priests were a sort of mediators between him and the people. In short, the temple was to the Jews in the promised land what the tabernacle was to the Hebrews in the wilderness; the place where God's honor dwelt, and whither the people flocked to pay their adoration.

"Solomon laid the foundation of the temple in the year of the world 2992, before Christ 1008, before the vulgar era, 1012; and it was finished in the year of the world 3000, and dedicated in 3001, before Christ 999, before the vulgar era 1003; 1 Kings 8:1 etc.; 2 Chronicles 5:1; 2 Chronicles 7:1; 2 Chronicles 8:1 etc. The place that was pitched on for erecting this magnificent structure was on the side of Mount Sion called Moriah. Its entrance or frontispiece stood towards the east, and the most holy or most retired part was towards the west. The author of the first book of Kings, and of the second of Chronicles has chiefly made it his business to describe the temple properly so called, that is the sanctuary, the sanctum, and the apartments belonging to them, as also the vessels, the implements, and the ornaments of the temple, without giving any description scarcely of the courts and open areas, which, however, made a principal part of the grandeur of this august edifice.

"But Ezekiel has supplied this defect by the exact plan he has delineated of these necessary parts. Indeed it must be owned that the temple as described by Ezekiel was never restored after the captivity of Babylon, according to the model and the mensuration that this prophet has given of it. But as the measures he sets down for the sanctum and the sanctuary are, within a small matter, the same as those of the temple of Solomon; and as this prophet, who was himself a priest, had seen the first temple; it is to be supposed that the description he gives us of the temple of Jerusalem is the same as that of the temple of Solomon.

"The ground-plot upon which the temple was built was a square of six hundred cubits, or twenty-five thousand royal feet; Ezekiel 45:1 etc. This space was encompassed with a wall of the height of six cubits, and of the same breadth. Beyond this wall was the court of the Gentiles, being fifty cubits wide. After this was seen a great wall, which encompassed the whole court of the children of Israel. This wall was a square of five hundred cubits. The court of Israel was a hundred cubits square, and was encompassed all round with magnificent galleries supported by two or three rows of pillars. It had four gates or entrances; one to the east, another to the west, a third to the north, and the fourth to the south. They were all of the same form and largeness, and each had an ascent of seven steps. The court was paved with marble of divers colors, and had no covering; but the people in case of need could retire under the galleries that were all round about. These apartments were to lodge the priests in, and to lay up such things as were necessary for the use of the temple. There were but three ways to come in, to the east, to the north, and to the south, and they went to it by an ascent of eight steps. Before, and over against the gate of the court of the priests, in the court of Israel, was erected a throne for the king, being a magnificent alcove, where the king seated himself when he came into the temple. Within the court of the priests, and over against the same eastern gate, was the altar of burnt-offerings, of twelve cubits square, according to Ezekiel 43:16, or of ten cubits high and twenty broad, according to 2 Chronicles 4:1. They went up to it by stairs on the eastern side.

"Beyond this, and to the west of the altar of burnt-offerings was the temple, properly so called, that is to say, the sanctuary, the sanctum, and the porch of entrance. The porch was twenty cubits wide and six cubits deep. Its gate was fourteen cubits wide. The sanctum was forty cubits wide and twenty deep. There stood the golden candlestick, the table of shew-bread, and the golden altar, upon which the incense was offered. The sanctuary was a square of twenty cubits. There was nothing in the sanctuary but the ark of the covenant, which included the tables of the law. The high priest entered here but once a year, and none but himself was allowed to enter. Solomon had embellished the inside of this holy place with palm trees in relief, and cherubim of wood covered with plates of gold, and in general the whole sanctuary was adorned, and as it were overlaid, with plates of gold.

"Round the sanctum and sanctuary were three stories of chambers, to the number of thirty-three. Ezekiel makes them but four cubits wide; but the first book of Kings, 1 Kings 6:6, allows five cubits to the first story, six to the second, and seven to the third.

"Since the consecration or dedication of the temple by Solomon in the year of the world 3001, this edifice has suffered many revolutions, which it is proper to take notice of here.

"In the year of the world 3033, before Christ 967, before the vulgar era 971, Shishak, king of Egypt, having declared war with Rehoboam, king of Judah, took Jerusalem, and carried away the treasures of the temple; 1 Kings 14:25, 1 Kings 14:26; 2 Chronicles 12:1-9.

"In 3146, Jehoash, king of Judah, got silver together to go upon the repairs of the temple; they began to work upon it in earnest in 3148, before Christ 852, before the vulgar era 856; 2 Kings 12:4, 2 Kings 12:5, and 2 Chronicles 24:7-9, etc.

These he took away to prevent their being carried away by the king of Assyria. Nor did he stop here, but carried his wickedness so far as to sacrifice to strange gods, and to erect profane altars in all the corners of the streets of Jerusalem; 2 Chronicles 28:24, 2 Chronicles 28:25. He pillaged the temple of the Lord, broke the sacred vessels, and, lastly, shut up the house of God. in the month Bul, which is the eighth month; from the month Abib or Nisan; this month answers to part of our October, and part of November; it is the same month sometimes called Marchesvan; it had the name of Bul, because of the rains which usually fell in this month, as Kimchi thinks, like a flood; and Noah's flood is called Mabbul, from the same root (i), and when all the fruits were withered, and the leaves were fallen from the trees; or, as Jarchi supposes, because the grass was consumed in the field, and they were obliged to mix provender for cattle, deriving the word from another root (k): in this month

was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof; the porch, the holy place, and holy of holies, with all the chambers and courts belonging to it:

6:38 Seven years - It is not strange that this work took up so much time: for, The temple properly so called, was for quantity the least part of it, there being very many and great buildings both above ground in the several courts, (for though only the court of the priests be mentioned, yet it is thereby implied, that the same thing was proportionably done in the others) and under ground. The great art which was used here, and the small number of exquisite artists, required the longer time for the doing it. And if the building of Diana's temple employed all Asia for two hundred years; and the building of one pyramid employed three hundred and sixty thousand men, for twenty years together; both which, Pliny affirms: no reasonable man can wonder that this temple was seven years in building. Now let us see what this temple typifies. Christ himself is the true temple. He himself spoke of the temple of his body: and in him dwelt all the fullness of the godhead. In him all the Israel of God meet, and thro' him have access with confidence to God. Every believer is a living temple, in whom the spirit of God dwelleth. We are wonderfully made by the Divine Providence, but more wonderfully made anew by the Divine grace. And as Solomon's temple was built on a rock, so are we built on Christ. The church is a mystical temple, enriched and beautified, not with gold and precious stones, but with the gifts and graces of the spirit. Angels are ministering spirits, attending the church and all the members of it on all sides. Heaven is the everlasting temple. There the church will be fixt, and no longer moveable. The cherubim there always attend upon the throne of glory. In the temple there was no noise of axes or hammers: every thing is quiet and serene in heaven. All that shall be stones in that building, must here be fitted and made ready for it; must be hewn and squared by the Divine grace, and so made meet for a place in that temple.

6:15-38 See what was typified by this temple. 1. Christ is the true Temple. In him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead; in him meet all God's spiritual Israel; through him we have access with confidence to God. 2. Every believer is a living temple, in whom the Spirit of God dwells, 1Co 3:16. This living temple is built upon Christ as its Foundation, and will be perfect in due time. 3. The gospel church is the mystical temple. It grows to a holy temple in the Lord, enriched and beautified with the gifts and graces of the Spirit. This temple is built firm, upon a Rock. 4. Heaven is the everlasting temple. There the church will be fixed. All that shall be stones in that building, must, in the present state of preparation, be fitted and made ready for it. Let sinners come to Jesus as the living Foundation, that they may be built on him, a part of this spiritual house, consecrated in body and soul to the glory of God.

Ur

was the land of Haran's nativity, (Genesis 11:28) the place from which Terah and Abraham started "to go into the land of Canaan." (Genesis 11:31) It is called in Genesis "Ur of the Chaldaeans," while in the Acts St. Stephen places it, by implication, in Mesopotamia. (Acts 7:2,4) These are all the indications which Scripture furnishes as to its locality. It has been identified by the most ancient traditions with the city of Orfah in the highlands of Mesopotamia, which unite the table-land of Armenia to the valley of the Euphrates. In later ages it was called Edessa, and was celebrated as the capital of Abgarus or Acbarus who was said to have received the letter and portrait of our Saviour. "Two, physical features must have secured Orfah, from the earliest times, as a nucleus for the civilization of those regions. One is a high-crested crag, the natural fortifications of the crested citadel....The other is an abundant spring, issuing in a pool of transparent clearness, and embosomed in a mass of luxuriant verdure, which, amidst the dull brown desert all around, makes and must always have made, this spot an oasis, a paradise, in the Chaldaean wilderness. Round this sacred pool,the beautiful spring Callirrhoe,? as it was called by the Greek writers, gather the modern traditions of the patriarch." --Stanley, Jewish Church, part i.p.7. A second tradition, which appears in the Talmud, finds Ur in Warka, 120 miles southeast from Babylon and four east of the Euphrates. It was the Orchoe of the Greeks, and probably the Ereck of Holy Scripture. This place bears the name of Huruk in the native inscriptions, and was in the countries known to the Jews as the land of the Chaldaeans. But in opposition to the most ancient traditions, many modern writers have fixed the site of Ur at a very different position, viz. in the extreme south of Chaldaea, at Mugheir , not very far above-- and probably in the time of Abraham actually upon--the head of the Persian Gulf. Among the ruins which are now seen at the spot are the remains of one of the great temples, of a model similar to that of Babel, dedicated to the moon, to whom the city was sacred. (Porter and Rawlinson favor this last place.)

Ur

The country of Terah, and the birthplace of Abraham, Genesis 11:28,31 15:7. It is usually called "Ur of the Chaldees," Hebrews 9:7 Acts 7:4; and is located, with strong probability, in the north-west part of Mesopotamia. The city of Orfah, to which the Jews make pilgrimages as the birthplace of Abraham, is a flourishing town of 30,000 inhabitants, seventy-eight miles south-west of Diarbekir. Some, however, place Ur in Lower Chaldea, at extensive ruins now called Warka, in latitude 31 degrees 19- North, longitude 45 degrees 40- East.

UR OF THE CHALDEES

kal'-dez ('ur kasdim; he chora (ton) Chaldaion): For more than 2,000 years efforts have been made to identify the site of this city. The writers of the Septuagint, either being unfamiliar with the site, or not considering it a city, wrote chora, "land," instead of Ur. Eupolemus, who lived about 150 B.C., spoke of it as being a city of Babylonia called Camarina, which he said was called by some Ouria. Stephen (Acts 7:2, 4) regarded the place as being in Mesopotamia. The Talmud, however, as well as some later Arabic writers, regarded Erech (the Septuagint Orek) as the city. The cuneiform writing of this city, Urnki, would seem to support this view, but Erech is mentioned in Genesis. Ammianus Marcellinus identified the city with the castle of Ur in the desert between Hatra and Nisibis, but this was only founded in the time of the Persians. Owing to its nearness to Haran, and because Stephen placed it in Mesopotamia, Urfa or Oorfa, named Edessa by the Greeks, has also in modern times been identified as the city. But Seleucus is credited with having built this city.

The most generally-accepted theory at the present time is that Ur is to be identified with the modern Mugheir (or Mughayyar, "the pitchy") in Southern Babylonia, called Urumma, or Urima, and later Uru in the inscriptions. This borders on the district which in the 1st millennium B.C. was called Chaldea (Kaldu).

This, some hold, accords with the view of Eupolemus, because Camarina may be from the Arabic name of the moon qamar, which refers perhaps to the fact that the ancient city was dedicated to the worship of the moon-god. Another argument which has been advanced for this identification is that Haran, the city to which Terah migrated, was also a center of moon-god worship. This, however, is precarious, because Urumma or Urima in Abraham's day was a Sumerian center, and the seat of Nannar-worship, whereas Haran was Semitic, and was dedicated to Sin. Although these two deities in later centuries were identified with each other, still the argument seems to have little weight, as other deities were also prominently worshipped in those cities, particularly Haran, which fact reminds us also that the Talmud says Terah worshipped no less than 12 deities.

It should be stated that there are scholars who hold, with the Septuagint, that Ur means, not a city, but perhaps a land in which the patriarch pastured his flocks, as for instance, the land of Uri or Ura (Akkad). The designation "of the Chaldeans" was in this case intended to distinguish it from the land where they were not found.

Still another identification is the town Uru (Mar-tu) near Sippar, a place of prominence in the time of Abraham, but which was lost sight of in subsequent periods (compare Amurru, 167). This fact would account for the failure to identify the place in the late pre-Christian centuries, when Urima or Uru still flourished. Western Semites-for the name Abram is not Babylonian-lived in this city in large numbers in the age when the patriarch lived. The Babylonian contract literature from this, as well as other sites, is full of names from the western Semitic lands, Aram and Amurru. This fact makes it reasonable that the site should be found in Babylonia; but, as stated, although the arguments are by no means weighty, more scholars at the present favor Mugheir than any other site.

Light, or the moon city, a city "of the Chaldees," the birthplace of Haran (Genesis 11:28, 31), the largest city of Shinar or northern Chaldea, and the principal commercial centre of the country as well as the centre of political power. It stood near the mouth of the Euphrates, on its western bank, and is represented by the mounds (of bricks cemented by bitumen) of el-Mugheir, i.e., "the bitumined," or "the town of bitumen," now 150 miles from the sea and some 6 miles from the Euphrates, a little above the point where it receives the Shat el-Hie, an affluent from the Tigris. It was formerly a maritime city, as the waters of the Persian Gulf reached thus far inland. Ur was the port of Babylonia, whence trade was carried on with the dwellers on the gulf, and with the distant countries of India, Ethiopia, and Egypt. It was abandoned about B.C. 500, but long continued, like Erech, to be a great sacred cemetery city, as is evident from the number of tombs found there. (see ABRAHAM.)

The oldest king of Ur known to us is Ur-Ba'u (servant of the goddess Ba'u), as Hommel reads the name, or Ur-Gur, as others read it. He lived some twenty-eight hundred years B.C., and took part in building the famous temple of the moon-god Sin in Ur itself. The illustration here given represents his cuneiform inscription, written in the Sumerian language, and stamped upon every brick of the temple in Ur. It reads: "Ur-Ba'u, king of Ur, who built the temple of the moon-god."

"Ur was consecrated to the worship of Sin, the Babylonian moon-god. It shared this honour, however, with another city, and this city was Haran, or Harran. Harran was in Mesopotamia, and took its name from the highroad which led through it from the east to the west. The name is Babylonian, and bears witness to its having been founded by a Babylonian king. The same witness is still more decisively borne by the worship paid in it to the Babylonian moon-god and by its ancient temple of Sin. Indeed, the temple of the moon-god at Harran was perhaps even more famous in the Assyrian and Babylonian world than the temple of the moon-god at Ur.

"Between Ur and Harran there must, consequently, have been a close connection in early times, the record of which has not yet been recovered. It may be that Harran owed its foundation to a king of Ur; at any rate the two cities were bound together by the worship of the same deity, the closest and most enduring bond of union that existed in the ancient world. That Terah should have migrated from Ur to Harran, therefore, ceases to be extraordinary. If he left Ur at all, it was the most natural place to which to go. It was like passing from one court of a temple into another.

"Such a remarkable coincidence between the Biblical narrative and the evidence of archaeological research cannot be the result of chance. The narrative must be historical; no writer of late date, even if he were a Babylonian, could have invented a story so exactly in accordance with what we now know to have been the truth. For a story of the kind to have been the invention of Palestinian tradition is equally impossible. To the unprejudiced mind there is no escape from the conclusion that the history of the migration of Terah from Ur to Harran is founded on fact" (Sayce).

After God spoke the Torah (Law) at Sinai, Moses was called up to receive the 10 Commandments written of tables of stone. By the time he return 40 days later the Israelites were worshiping the Golden Bull-Calf. They had reverted back to the Zodiac Age of Taurus the Bull and the "old time religion" of Mithraism. Moses broke the tables of stone, by throwing them at the golden bull calf. He destroyed the golden bull-calf literally to let them know they had moved into a new age. This was the Age of Aries the Ram (Lamb), which became the choice animal for ritual sacrifice. 3000 men were destroyed because of their idolatry, but the nation was spared because of Moses intercession.

According to history, Moses was summoned up into the mountain the second time for 40 days and nights beginning Elul 1. He returned with the new tables of stone on Tishri 10 (Day of Atonement - Yom Kimpur). 40 days of Repentance and Intercession had past, and God showed mercy. Exodus 32-34

This is one of the main reasons why the 6th month in the Bible is a very important month. The people were spared total destruction because they were willing to repent and turn to God with their whole heart. The purpose for this blog throughout this month is to raise awareness, inspire others to pray, meditate, confession shortcomings and manifest agape love. Eye believe the impact of events Eye have seen in the coming weeks and months can be lessen; if we follow this simple ancient technique.

ANCIENT RITUAL OF THE KINGS

During the month of Elul in ancient times; the king would leave the palace and go into the fields and mingle with the peasants. It was a time where the ordinary people could approach the king and make their request known. This ritual stems from the second 40 days and nights period Moses went up into the mountain during Elul. Elohim (God) Yahweh was in the cloudship that hovered over Sinai. The people sensed that God walked amongst them.

It has been believe that the King of the Universe during this season is closer. (We know that God lives in mankind, however, there are "set times" that the Bible speaks about when his Presence is more intense in the earth and interacting with humans). The ancients of 3500 years ago that understood mystical times and seasons knew how to align themselves to receive all the benefits of heaven, the Spirit realm during specific times.

THE ASTROLOGICAL ASPECT

During Elul, the month of preparation; when the Sun is in Virgo, the vibratory frequency of humans can be easily increased. Therefore, prayers, meditation and things visualized have a tendency to manifest sooner. This is why the kings left their throne to walk among the people- they demonstrated in the natural what was happening in the spirit. This time also symbolized the time when there Spirit inspects the motives of the heart more closely.

Virgo is pictured as a woman with a branch in her right hand and some ears of corn in her left hand. Virgo in Hebrew is "Bethulah" which means, "a virgin." When one understand the book of Revelation from the astrological point of view, it is clear that this constellation (Virgo) is mentioned. "Let us rejoice, be happy, and give him glory because it's time for the marriage of the lamb. His bride has made herself ready." Revelation 19:7

Behold Eye show you a mystery: notice the verse speaks a about preparation, getting ready. Which month is called the month of preparation that we have been writing about for the past several day? Is it not the 6th month? What is the 6th month called? Is it not Elul? The way the Creator set up the heavily encrypted Hebrew Calendar, Elul only comes when the Sun is in Virgo. Without going into too much detail, Revelation 19:7 gives a very important clue of when a futuristic event would take place. It actually gives us the exact month. However, in order to know the month you must get familiar with the ancient encrypted Hebrew Calendar. The Gregorian Calendar was designed to confuse us so that we would not know the times and seasons. Daniel prophesied it 2500 years ago. "He shall come and think to change the laws and times". Also the above verse calls her a "bride". It was customary to marry a virgin (Virgo) and yet is in the Middle East and Asia. What was she preparing for? Her wedding and marriage supper (reception). In Middle Eastern and Asian cultures until this very day, the Marriage Supper (reception) last for 7 days. What Feast in the Bible after Elul last for 7 days? Is it not Sukkot/Tabernacles? When does it happen? In the 7th month Tishrei, when the Sun moves into Libra. This is just another reason the Creator gave us Elul as a rehearsal month to prepare for the 7th month. "Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!'" And he added, "These are the true words of God". Revelation 19:9 Sukkot-the Feast of Tabernacles always starts on the 15th day of the 7th month Tishrei. Leviticus 23 The Moon must be full and the Sun in Libra. We may not know an exact day or hour of an event, but we can discern on or about a certain day.

SECRETS OF THE RED HEIFER - Part 5

Today is the 9th day of Elul on the sacred Calendar. The historians disagree on exactly when the very first Red Heifer was sacrificed. Some believe it was in Nisan, the 1st month. There are others that believe it was the 6th month and 1st day - Elul 1. The 6th month has always registered with me.

Over the years we have come to expect the Spirit to confirm in the natural realm prophetic subjects we may be speaking on or writing about. The confirmations have come through Discovery Channel featuring something, a movie being released that we knew nothing about, but most of the time the confirmation will come in the News Media. We post the news clips most of the time just to show the accuracy of the prophetic word or the timeliness of the message.

When we were led to blog a series on ELUL & the Red Heifer; Spirit told us to watch for confirmations shortly. Confirmations are not always exact, sometimes they come in the form of hints or even funny stories, you would need to have opened eyes to see them. Eye feel strongly that we are in the beginning of a time of great Preparation and Purification for the planet, but it is also a time of great Preservation for the elect of God. That's the overall message or Secrets of the Red Heifer regarding our specific time. The LORD does nothing before He speaks it through the mouth of His servants, the prophets. Once the word is released, He confirms it many times through others and on the physical plane. A Utah man was caught butchering a cow in his driveway - and may have even shot the animal on site, police said.

A bewildered local in Ogden called police at around 1:44 p.m. on Sunday to report spotting one of his neighbors bringing a live cow to his home on a trailer.

The caller reported hearing mooing sounds, followed by a gunshot-like popping sound, the Ogden Standard-Examiner reported.

The mooing stopped after the pop, the caller said.

An officer who arrived at the home found the unidentified man sawing the cow's head off, Ogden Police Lt. Troy Burnett said.

The man denied shooting the animal and said it was already dead when he brought it to his house, Burnett said.

The officer didn't arrest the man because it wasn't clear the man had broken any laws.

Burnett said police and city prosecutors were investigating the incident, and the man could face charges of firing a weapon in city limits, disorderly conduct, as well as health code violations.

PROPHETIC INSIGHT & FORESIGHT

Okay, let's think about this and interpret what this means. Who in their right mind would butcher a cow in their driveway in full view of neighbors in the early afternoon?? He may have even killed the cow on sight.

In his defense, he had no control of himself; all logic was pushed aside. He was under the influence of Spirit and had to unknowingly confirm the timely prophetic word of the red heifer. The butchering of the cow was prophetically symbolic of the ritual red heifer sacrifice. This happen on the 8th day of Elul, the month of Preparation and Purification. The number 8 speaks of a new beginning, a new thing. God is doing a new thing.

The incident taking place at his home represent this must become something very personal, use this time wisely for preparation for the 7th month. You must do this for yourself and your Preparation and Purification will affect your household. Not only will your lifestyle affect your household, it will also affect your neighbors.

This symbolic ritual sacrifice of the red heifer took place in the driveway. What is it that drives you? What has been your motivation up til now? Everything and everyone that drives you away from the Christ must be sacrificed. Everything that would defile or contaminate you with death (carnality) must be purged. Allow your drives to bring you to the Way.

The symbolic ritual red heifer sacrifice happened in OGDEN, UTAH Ogden means valley of Oaks, oak valley Oak tree (wood) is represents Bravery, Courage and Independence. The valley experiences are necessary for spiritual maturity.

In the Bible the heathens worshiped their idols in the Oak groves. Ezekiel 6:13 Jacob buried idols under the Oaks of Shechem. Genesis 35:4 Joshua took the idols of the nation of Israel and buried them under the Oaks. Joshua 24:21-25 "As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

In short, the message in this portion of the prophetic news is, "Get rid of you idols and you will become strong like the Oak tree."

Utah -(Yuta)- name of the indigenous Uto-Aztecan people (Indians) means living high, in the mountains; diggers of the mountain top In the natural order of things, we must first descend before we can ascend. The symbolic ritual sacrifice of the red heifer in Utah is prophesying after a time of preparation and purification there will be an ascension.

We were created to live the "high life" far above all principalities, dominions and thrones; to be seated with Him in heavenly places. The confirmation in UTAH is also prophesying about an elevation and blessing coming to the Native Indigenous People after the purification. They will be recognized and restored back to that lofty place as Gatekeepers and Stewards of the planet.

After reading the news story of the man in Ogden, Utah; the Spirit said there was another confirmation and directed me where to look. Again I was filled with Spirit, revelation and excitement as I read the story about Yvonne. I had never heard of her before today. Experience this heart warming, funny but true story.

YVONNE THE RUN AWAY COW FOUND

Yvonne, the reddish-brown cow from Germany was scheduled to be slaughter 3 months ago. About 4 days prior she intuitively knew something was up, and she miraculously escaped through an electrical fence to the Bavarian Black Forest. People were looking for her for 3 months, it made headlines news all over Europe. Police ordered she should be shot on sight after almost colliding with a Police car. She drew worldwide sympathy and a FACE BOOK page was even created for her where people posted their well wishes for her. Telepaths, Psychics and Cow Whisperers from Europe and as far as South Africa were trying to telepathically communicate with Yvonne and direct her to safety out of the Black Forest. Yvonne became a symbol of a "freedom fighter" after evading Police for so long and not being slaughtered. She also gained support from animal rights groups.

As time went on, the Germans even tried to entice her out of the forest by sending in a big black bull, hoping she would find him attractive. Well, she didn't and I don't blame her. Based on seeing him in a German news video clip; that bull looked like he had rolled in the mud, he was not groomed well and definitely needed a shave. One look at him and poor Yvonne just ran further into the forest.

Life on the run got kinda lonely for the reddish-brown cow after 3 months. She had made it all the way to the Austrian border and was planning on illegally crossing it. She was leaving the Germany for good. Suddenly she heard familiar sounds; "Mooo, Mooo." There she found some friendly Austrian cows, they invited her over. She jumped into their corral and shared her adventure and life on the run. Within a short time she was discovered by the farmer, recognized by her WANTED POSTER and her ear tag. Yvonne was found September 1, 2011 = Elul 2. She will get to live her life without fear of being slaughtered. Everyone is sleeping much better now in Europe now. (TRUE STORY)

TOO MUCH PROPHETIC INSIGHT TO DECIPHER IN THIS BLOG

Yvonne=in French, from Eve. Several days ago we stated in a blog that the red heifer was a female type of Christ due to Eve. Eve represents the mind, will, emotions, intellect and imagination - this is the realm of the Soul. Eve was contaminated with death and received a death sentence after being deceived by the Serpent (Reptilian). Therefore, the female or Divine Feminine (Red Heifer) in type was manifested to purify the soul and preserve it from death. Just as Yvonne escaped death, so was Eve saved through childbearing according to Scripture.

Yvonne the reddish-brown cow was lost for 3 months, but was found on ELUL 2 on almost the exact date that many scholars and historians believe the first red cow was sacrificed- ELUL 1. There is something that has been lost for 2000 years among people of Jewish faith. We have come unto the 6th month according to the ancient lunar-solar Biblical Calendar, counting from Nisan (March/April). This month is called ELUL = August 31, 2011. Elul the 6th month comes when the Sun is in Virgo. It is called the �Month of Preparation�. For over 3500 years it has been observed as such in preparation for the High Feast Days of the 7th month. Throughout this month we will blog on the ancient customs of Elul and the prophetic significance for us today.

Elul means good for nothing, nothingness; searching. Mankind created on the 6th day to live in the 7th day is lacking awareness of perfection until he learns to enter into the Sabbbath rest within. The Sabbath we are speaking of is not limited to a specific day of the week, but rather this is a state of mind that transcends a 24 hour day. It is the day of the LORD or millennium within everyday. (However, we do realize the Creator established Saturday as Sabbath forever and it foreshadowed the 7th Feast-Sukkot, 7th millennium and the 7th Zodiac Age).

Elul reminds us that humanity living apart from Divine Principles and the Spirit of life is good for nothing and must face the judgment of the metaphoric 7th month. Apart from Spirit consciousness, it is a life filled with worthless things that amount to nothing. We see this demonstrated in the lives of the celebrities and many others that are controlled by material possessions. All the things that people use to define themselves by; money, women, men, drugs, alcohol, fame and power; it�s nothing. With many it is not the toys, it is the arrogance, attitudes and religious self righteousness. The flesh can not be satisfied and it will always want more. Therefore, Elul reminds us of the heart searching for love in all the wrong places and never satisfied. King Solomon summed it up this way, �Vanity of vanity all of life is filled with emptiness�. It is true, if we fail to get in touch with our divine nature and stay connected; life is not worth living.

In a prophetic message we posted August 15, 2011 called, �The 7th Month�, we requested that you join the tens of millions of us around the world for the month of Elul in a special time of seeking God. Eye believe this Elul, starting August 31 thru the end of September is most important for our lives, our nation, our world, and our planet. We are asking all that can, will or feel moved to join us in a month of going deep within, repentance and interceding for our planet and all of its inhabitants. I still believe the word of the LORD that came to King Solomon, �If my people which are called by my name, would humble themselves (fast) and Pray, turn (repent) from their wicked ways, and seek my face; then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land�. 2 Chronicles 7:14 We have demonstrated time after time of how the prophetic word can be changed.

Why is this ELUL so important this year? The spirit of prophecy and science both agree that in the 7th month (Tishrei), we as a global community could be facing some of the most challenging times known to mankind. Actually, from September- early December is the most vulnerable time. Natural disasters and man-made disasters will cause great loss of life on the planet. It will be days of shock and awe. We are moving into a very interesting period of time and a very critical time. It is a time of travail because we are birthing a new global consciousness. There is much resistance in the old paradigm but it will soon be dissolved and replaced.

ELUL 1- DAY ONE

The Shofar (trumpet) is sounding and it is a call for REPENTANCE. We realize that there are some �spiritual people� that feel they have outgrown that. I am happy to be the one to tell you, �No, you haven�t yet�. Repentance means to Change your mind, have a paradigm shift, exchange your thoughts for higher (His) thoughts. One operating in full capacity of the Christ love at all times and have completely mastered the flesh and material world needs no repentance. They have been caught up to the Christ frequency and have the ability to maintain that vibration. I am not aware of anyone expressing that yet.

Spend this day looking into your life, not with condemnation. However, don�t hide or think you are hiding from the all seeing Eye within. Be honest with yourself. (That is very scary for some) Verbally admit your side slips, transgression, screw-ups and missing the mark. It may be incidents from 15 minutes ago, 15 days ago or over 15 years ago. Say it out loud so you can hear it if you have no one you can be accountable to. Kneel, pace the floor, sit or stand in front of a mirror - seriously release it and allow God's Grace to cover it. The 6th month is to prepare you for the 7th month.

Visualize those you have hurt with words, lies, attitudes or actions. Ask for forgiveness and forgive yourself. Let�s see how �spiritually mature� you really are? Are you spiritual enough to call them and apologize, send an email or visit them?!! Do you just talk, teach or preach spirituality or have you really had an experience??!! This is what the month of Elul is all about; dealing with your mess. Stop sweeping it under the carpet. If you are accountable and deal with your �mess� properly as a loving spiritual person should- God will transform your mess into a MESSAGE that will help others.

Eye see some of you reading this blog have taken many food supplements, visited doctors, and tried various meditation techniques but you are yet sick. Here is a simple solution: �Therefore, CONFESS your sins to one another, and pray for one another So That You May Be Healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.� James 5:16 Confession is good for the soul (emotions-the energy that has stopped the motion in the body, thus creating sickness), it�s a cleansing. Confession is also good (healthy) for the body (healing). Let go of the Anger, Bitterness, Hate, Regret, Resentment and Un-forgiveness. Those negative energies will literally kill you.

Reality check!!! You may read books on spirituality, learn all the cute clich�s, study quantum physics, watch videos and attend conferences-without Love it profits you nothing (elul). Clean up the horizontal relationships first and the vertical one will fall into place. �If a person says he loves God (Creator) whom he has not seen and hates his brother (other humans, in-law, out-law, exes) who he sees daily, he is a liar and the truth is not in him�. People, we must stop deceiving ourselves and wanting to be deceived by others that tickle your ears. Do not become like the religious hypocrites of Jesus� day, they thought they had it. They even sat and ate with the Messiah, walked with him and saw the miracles, but their hearts were so filled with PRIDE. He told them, �You have missed your hour of visitation�. They got so close, but pride and the ego blinded them from what was the most important.

For nearly 3000 years Psalms 27 has been read during the month of Elul. Let this be your prayer and meditation each day with strong emphasis on verses 4 & 5.

THE SHOFAR

1) The �Shofar� (ram�s horn) is blown everyday of this month to prepare the people for Judgment Day (Day of Trumpets). It is also called Rosh Hashannah or the New Year. It is a constant reminder for spiritual house cleaning throughout Elul. The Shofar was sounded to call the people to Repentance (meaning change your mind, you can choose again; return to God consciousness). To grow is to change. Your life today on every level is the sum total of predominate thoughts you have been thinking and acting upon. Re-pent-ance is simply returning to the pent (penthouse) or top - change your mind and choose to ascend.

The Shofar was sounded as an Alarm (become aware, wake up from the unconscious state). The prophets throughout the Bible was constantly trying to awaken the people as today. Let's not be as those who hear the alarm going off and decide to press the snooze button for a little more sleep. The sound is everywhere; in the strange weather patterns, social behavior, the economy and religion. Are you Awake yet??!!

The Shofar was sounded to bring the people Together (humanity is ONE, be they Muslim, Jew, Christian, Hindu, Atheist, Satanist, etc). We are all cells in this universal body, each cell is designed to fulfill its purpose. However, if a cell decides to be come radical and go about doing its own things, the whole body is jeopardized. Other cells will become infected and before long a cancerous tumor is developed. Let us focus on what we have in common and not what we may think we disagree on. Humanity is being called to gather as one.

It was also blown to give Marching Orders. You can not remain where you are spiritually, you must move on or be overcome by the ego-serpent brain and die. During the wilderness experience of ancient Israel, they were led by a cloud by day and a pillar of fire at night. Whenever the cloud or fire moved, they had to move also. Some got discouraged with the way, not being able to stay at one place for long. The vipers and scorpions attacked them and many died. So often this happens, people get comfortable with their level of spirituality and refuse to move on. They refuse to learn more, see things from a different perspective or follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. What eventually happens to those individuals? They are overcome by their carnal mind and become just another religious person criticizing everyone else.

Experience this short video clip of the blowing of the Ram's Horn-Shofar. Sit with closed eyes and palms open if possible. This ancient sound has been heard for 3500 years. Realize that you are the living shofar, the trumpet of God; calling for all creation to return to God, wake up, operate as one and move forward.

Remember to allow Psalms 27 to become a daily prayer/meditation.

SECRETS OF THE RED HEIFER - Part 1

SEPTEMBER 4, 2011

Today is the 5th day of Elul (the 6th month on the sacred Calendar), which means nothingness, good for nothing; and searching. Life with all it has to offer can be filled with emptiness. This is the state of humans not yet awaken to the divine self.

Moses administration as great as it was could not bring the ancient people out of the Wilderness into the Promised Land. They saw the miracles daily, they heard the prophetic word through Moses and the 70; there were supernatural signs also. They danced, rejoiced and experiences all the phenomenons that Pentecostals and Charismatics experience today. (Those experiences are very necessary today). Wait, there was still one big problem though; SIN, or should I say the consciousness of sin. The law that Moses gave them became an administrator of death because it magnified what is called sin. This is exactly what has happened in most of contemporary Christendom. (Acknowledging what is called sin, trespasses, transgressions or offenses we cause to others, and repenting of those things as we have been encouraging others to do is appropriate. As spiritual beings we are to take full responsibility for our thoughts, words and actions).

Under the old covenant of Moses laws the people developed a consciousness of sin; as many have today. They were burden with fear, guilt, condemnation and the task of trying to appease an angry hateful God. Animals were killed daily to make atonement for "sin" and no matter how hard they tried, they still fell short. 359 days out of the year they were reminded how sinful and bad they were by the 10 Commandments that were meant to bring life and the 603 ordinances. All together it was 613 laws and ordinances that they could not keep. Filled with religious frustration and a sense of failure, they anxiously longed for that (1) day out of the year the High Priest would exist the Holy of Holies alive, assuring them that they had been forgiven. That early Autumn day was Tishrei 10, the Day of Atonement. For 24 hours, their conscience was clear, only to start the sin consciousness cycle all over again for 359 days.

Since the wages for sin is death; that created a greater problem than the sin itself for ancient Israel. The people kept dying, there were thousands dying daily and not only the people but the priest that ministered to them. The stench of death in the hot desert had to be overwhelming as they had to find burial places for the bodies. Plus, the Wilderness experience was turning into a bloody mess with all the animals being slaughtered to appease their extremely strict God.

�If, therefore, perfection were by the Levitical priesthood..what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchizedek, and not after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being Changed, there is, made of necessity a change also of the law. ... Our Lord sprang out of Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood... which is made after the power of an Endless Life...And they (Aaronic Levitical priesthood), truly were many priest, they were not allowed to continue By Reason of DEATH. But this man, because he continues ever, has an Unchangeable priesthood.� Hebrews 7:11-24

The Aaronic priesthood walked in a death (sin) consciousness and ministered death, therefore, the people kept dying and did not come to Life. This is the problem with the Priesthood (ministries) today. There are too many dead people in the pulpit ministering death messages. The deceived Believers wait all week for that (1) day to feel good about themselves in hopes to hear that they are forgiven and loved. However, on this most hypocritical day out of the week (Sunday), many leave their house of worship feeling worse. A message of death has been delivered to remind them how wretched, worthless and wanting they are.

WHAT MYSTICAL SOLUTION DID GOD GIVE MOSES??

According to tradition and historians, the solution for contamination with death was given in the 6th month, Elul. Elul is the month of preparation and purification. The ancient Hebrews were given some very peculiar rituals to observe, I am sure today most Christians would equate many to witchcraft or some form of negative occultism. One of the most mystical rituals in my opinion is the "Ritual of the Red Heifer". In this little known and esoteric passage of Scripture below are hidden some profound prophetic clues of major world events that shall happen within the next few years. Read carefully.

"Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, �This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying: �Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without blemish, in which there is no defect and on which a yoke has never come. You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, that he may take it outside the camp, and it shall be slaughtered before him; and Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle some of its blood seven times directly in front of the tabernacle of meeting. Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight: its hide, its flesh, its blood, and its offal shall be burned. And the priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet, and cast them into the midst of the fire burning the heifer. Then the priest shall wash his clothes, he shall bathe in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp; the priest shall be unclean until evening. And the one who burns it shall wash his clothes in water, bathe in water, and shall be unclean until evening. Then a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and store them outside the camp in a clean place; and they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for the water of purification; it is for purifying from sin. And the one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until evening. It shall be a statute forever to the children of Israel and to the stranger who dwells among them. He who touches the dead body of anyone shall be unclean seven days. He shall purify himself with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then he will be clean. But if he does not purify himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean. Whoever touches the body of anyone who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord. That person shall be cut off from Israel. He shall be unclean, because the water of purification was not sprinkled on him; his uncleanness is still on him. This is the law when a man dies in a tent: All who come into the tent and all who are in the tent shall be unclean seven days; and every open vessel, which has no cover fastened on it, is unclean. Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain by a sword or who has died, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days. And for an unclean person they shall take some of the ashes of the heifer burnt for purification from sin, and running water shall be put on them in a vessel. A clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, the slain, the dead, or a grave. The clean person shall sprinkle the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, wash his clothes, and bathe in water; and at evening he shall be clean." Numbers 19:1-19

In the coming days of Elul we shall be revealing many of the "Secrets of the Red Heifer". While in meditation Spirit download lots of fresh prophetic revelation regarding the Red Heifer, so much that I am having a hard time organizing it in my head so that I can write. I am almost sure most of the things we share in the coming days, you have not consciously heard or read before. Nevertheless, your spirit will recognize it and be quickened. In no way do we expect to exhaust this subject, we can only give you tidbits in this blog. However, it will be enough to bring light, life and prophetic insight.

SECRETS OF THE RED HEIFER - Part 2

Today is Elul 6, the shofar is sounding and calling us to return to God within.

Ancient tradition tells us, the first Red Heifer was sacrificed in the month Elul. We discovered in the Book of Numbers chapter 19, a highly mystical ritual was introduced to cleanse those that had been contaminated with death. Thousands were dying daily, all of the adults that left Egypt eventually died in the Wilderness. The wages for sin (death) had created a greater problem than what is called sin.

KING SOLOMON, THE WISEST MAN KNEW ALL MYSTERIES EXCEPT THE MYSTERY OF THE RED HEIFER

King Solomon was known worldwide for his wisdom. After his coronation as King over Israel, God asked him what did he want. Solomon did not ask for the life of his adversaries, wealth or material things. He asked for wisdom and discernment how to lead his people. God granted that and his wisdom made him the wealthiest man ever.

"He was wiser than anyone else, including Ethan the Ezrahite and the sons of Mahol--Heman, Calcol, and Darda. His fame spread throughout all the surrounding nations. He composed some 3,000 proverbs and wrote 1,005 songs. He could speak with authority about all kinds of plants, from the great cedar of Lebanon to the tiny hyssop that grows from cracks in a wall. He could also speak about animals, birds, small creatures, and fish. And kings from every nation sent their ambassadors to listen to the wisdom of Solomon." 1 Kings 4:31-34

Toward the end of Solomon's glorious life, he was puzzled; because there was yet one elusive spiritual mystery he had not been able to solve. It was the secret of the Red Cow. This mystical ritual remained out of the reach of the wisest man. Being the greatest metaphysician, spiritualist, and one that captured and commanded demons; he could not fathom how this one mystery could evade him. Here is the riddle: How could the ashes from the red heifer defile what is pure and purify that which is defile?

"All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me." Ecc. 7:23

READ NUMBERS 19:1-10

1 The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron: 2 This is the statute for the ritual which the LORD has commanded. Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect and free from every blemish and on which no yoke has ever been laid. 3 You will give it to Eleazar the priest, and it will be led outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence. 4 Eleazar the priest will take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times toward the front of the tent of meeting. 5 Then the heifer will be burned in his sight; it will be burned with its hide and flesh, its blood and dung; 6 and the priest will take cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet yarn and throw them into the fire in which the heifer is being burned. 7 The priest shall then wash his garments and bathe his body in water, afterward he may enter the camp. The priest remains unclean until the evening. 8 Likewise, the one who burned the heifer shall wash his garments in water, bathe his body in water, and be unclean until evening. 9 Then somebody who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and deposit them in a clean place outside the camp. There they are to be kept to prepare purification water for the Israelite community. This is a purification offering. 10 The one who has gathered up the ashes of the heifer shall also wash his garments and be unclean until evening. This is a permanent statute, both for the Israelites and for the alien residing among them."

Moses was the only one of the Old Covenant given to know the secret of the Red Heifer. "Speak to the Children of Israel and have them bring you a red heifer... " The very first red heifer was given into Moses' custody before it was ritually slaughtered. There was a very spiritual event that took place, an impartation of some sort. It is yet believed today that all the red heifers were connected Moses even after his death because of the energetic transfer to the first. Some of the ashes from the first Red Heifer were preserved. Through the 1500 years after Moses, when there was a need for another red heifer, the priest would mix in some of the ashes of the first with the present one. The power or energy from the first ashes was able to activate (anoint) the new ashes. The mystical ashes were hidden in a place where only a few priests knew where they were. It is believed that a jar, the original jar of Moses time is now in the custody of Orthodox Jews in Israel under heavy guard. Ancient Copper Tablets discovered in 1952 supposedly revealed the whereabouts of the hidden ashes of the mysterious 1st Red Heifer. Due to the extreme importance of this, it is a secret closely held by the Israeli authorities.

The great paradox of the ashes that only Moses understood but kept King Solomon awake many nights is no more a secret. "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers�it is to him you shall listen." Deuteronomy 18:15, Acts 3:22 Solomon with all his great wisdom about everything did not have a clear revelation about the most important, the power of Messiah's blood.

The ancient people of Israel did not fully understand this, until this day many of their ancestors are blinded. The completely red heifer was a type of Jesus the Christ, the Messiah that was to come. The is the secret or mystery of the Prophet liken unto Moses. The red heifer ashes had the symbolic power to purify anyone that had been contaminated by death. All of humanity has been contaminated.

How could the ashes from the Red Heifer defile what is pure and purify that which is defile? "He that knew no sin (defilement) became sin (defiled) that we might be made righteous (pure)." Jesus became the Red Heifer to purify all of humanity from contamination of death. What is death? Is it not carnal mindedness? It is the thought process that prevails in humans making them believe that they are or can be separated from what is called God. This separation is called Death. For this reason the ashes of the red heifer had to be mixed with running water from a stream, river or rain water. Once the ashes were mixed with the pure water it was transformed into the "waters of separation". This was to heal the breach in the consciousness of humanity, bringing them again into a state of oneness. This was also a prophetic declaration, "You are Purified, Pure by the washing of the water of the Word." Jesus is the pure living waters.

"And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin." Numbers 19:9

WHY DID HE MANIFEST AS A FEMALE BOVINE

First of all you must realize that a completely Red Cow is extremely rare. This ritual animal could not have more that (2)non-red hairs and the (2) or less non-red hairs must have red roots. Did you know that there has not been another completely Red Heifer born since Jesus' death, burial and resurrection 2000 years ago? Jewish history say there has not been one since prior 70 AD. Why?! Because there was no need for another.

"For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" Hebrews 9:13-14

World top geneticists have been working hard for decades trying to create another Red Heifer. Thus far, each one has been disqualified due to blemishes, white or black hairs growing before the heifer reaches 3 years old.

Why did Christ manifest as the female bovine in type? The perceived problem in humanity is in the feminine aspect of its make up. The soul is the feminine. Soul is mind, will, emotion, intellect and imagination. The separation or duality exist in the mind. This was also portrayed in the story of Adam and Eve. Was it not Eve (mind, emotion, imagination) that became separated through deception or the illusion? Therefore, it would take the Divine Feminine energy to reconcile the soul and bring it back from death to the path of life.

JESUS THE RED HEIFER

Just a few parallels:

The Red Cow is unique. - There is none like Him (immaculate conception etc).

The Red Cow was sacrificed - Jesus was the ultimate Sacrifice of God

It was killed and burned outside the camp - Jesus was crucified outside the city

The Heifers blood was sprinkled - Jesus Blood was shed for us

The ashes purified the people - Jesus cleansed us from sin consciousness

She was complete red - Jesus was covered in his own blood head to toe

"Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow." The red represents sin (missing the mark). The heifer and Jesus had to be red or covered in red (blood) to symbolize taking on the sins of the world. The red also symbolized the life of the flesh which is in the blood, out of death life comes forth.

SECRETS OF THE RED HEIFER - Part 3

Today is the 7th of Elul, the 6th month. We will soon end the religious year that started in Nisan (March/April) and began the Civil year starting with Tishrei, the 7th month. On the sacred biblical Calendar there are (2) New Years, one begins in Spring and the other in Autumn.

A SHORT DREAM I HAD

Just before we get back to the Red Heifer, I want to share a dream I had (2) nights ago. Early Sunday morning was filled with dreams one after the other and some even lucid. However, I will only share one here.

Eye was walking down a street at night and voices began to excitedly yell at me. I could see no people, just voices trying to get my attention shouting out of the dark. They were saying, "Look up! Look at the Moon, just watch it. Look at it." Eye looked up and the Moon started to move out of its place, it came a bit closer and then it appeared to move backwards. It appeared smaller and smaller as it appeared to move further away. Clouds were moving rapidly across the sky and the face of the Moon.

My attention was drawn to the shadow on the Moon and suddenly it seems as if the Moon flipped over right before my eyes. The only way Eye can describe it is as some type of polar shift on the Moon. Eye see when this event happens NASA or the government will not be able to cover it up- Something will soon happen with the Moon that will get everyone's attention. There will soon be some type of sign in the Moon that will even be reported in the media. (we are aware of past anomalies regarding the Moon and have written about them, this is something different).

SECRETS OF THE RED HEIFER - Part 3

Yesterday we discovered that King Solomon and all his wisdom could not solve the riddle. "How could the ashes from the red heifer defile what is pure and purify that which is defile?" We found out that the Red Heifer was a type of the pure and holy Jesus the Christ. He became sin (defiled) so that we could be made aware of our purity.

RED HEIFER WEDDING CRASHER

In Numbers 19 we are given some very important prophetic dates that deal with Purification. As we shared yesterday, the water used for purification had to be "living" waters, moving water from a stream, river or collected rain water. During this mystical ritual, once the ashes of the red heifer was mixed with the water, it was transformed. It became the "Waters of Separation" also called the "Waters of Purification." Purification can only take place as we separate ourselves from the old paradigm of negativity and death.

"11 Those who touch a corpse are ritually unclean for seven days. 12 They must purify themselves with the water for purification on the third day and on the seventh day, and then they will be clean. But if they do not purify themselves on both the third and the seventh day, they will not be clean." Numbers 19:11-12

We see here that the Purification process is a 2-stage process for completion. 3 days after someone touches a dead body they must be sprinkled with the water and also on the 7th day to be declared clean. The numbers 3 and 7 are synonymous in biblical numerology. 3 is the number of completion and also 7 is the number of completion or perfection. Herein is another secret of the Red Heifer.

One day with the LORD is as 1000 years, so 1 day = 1000 years in biblical prophetic time. Psalms 90:4, 2 Peter 3:8 From the time of Adam in Genesis til now, we are approaching the 7th day, we have passed over 6000 years or 6 days. From the time of Jesus til now we have gone passed 2000 years (2 days) and approaching the 3rd day of prophetic time 3000 years. So we see hidden in this mystery that the 3rd day and 7th day are the same, it only depends on when you start counting from. "Herein is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count." Revelation 13:18 It is very important that you see this before we get to the next clue in this amazing prophetic puzzle. Question. So where are we in prophetic time? Answer. At the dawning of the 3rd and 7th day. (The 3rd from the last Adam called Christ- the 7th from Adam in Eden) I reiterate this because the prophetic clues of these days (3 & 7) are neatly woven and hidden throughout the Bible.

1 On the third day a wedding took place in the city of Cana in Galilee. Jesus� mother was there. 2 Jesus and his disciples had been invited too. 3 When the wine was gone, Jesus� mother said to him, �They�re out of wine.� 4 Jesus said to her, �Why did you come to me? My time has not yet come.� 5 His mother told the servers, �Do whatever he tells you.� 6 Six stone water jars were there. They were used for Jewish purification rituals. Each jar held 18 to 27 gallons. 7 Jesus told the servers, �Fill the jars with water.� The servers filled the jars to the brim. 8 Jesus said to them, �Pour some, and take it to the person in charge.� The servers did as they were told. 9 The person in charge tasted the water that had become wine. He didn�t know where it had come from, although the servers who had poured the water knew. The person in charge called the groom, 10 and said to him, �Everyone serves the best wine first. When people are drunk, the host serves cheap wine. But you have saved the best wine for last.� John 2:1-10

It was not by accident or coincident that Jesus, the Red Heifer crashed the wedding on the 3rd day. Nor was it coincidence that there happened to be jars used for the waters of purification. These jars that used to hold water for purification would never be used again for water to mix with the ashes of a red heifer. Why? Because the Red Heifer in type was about to fulfill the law and use them to change clear water to blood red wine. WHEN was this happening? On the 3rd day!!! HalleluYAH!! Jesus had to fulfill the Law of Purification. Not one jot or tittle could pass away until ALL was fulfilled. Everything that he did those 3 and 1/2 years, every miracle, every message, and every gesture was to fulfill the 613 Laws and Ordinances given by Moses to set humanity free from the Death sentence and contamination with death.

Remember, I told you the 3rd and 7th day are synonymous and prophetically represent the SAME period of time. So what Jesus did on the 3rd day in Cana also affects the 7th day, the day we are coming into NOW. The message is, "You have Been Cleansed, You are Pure! You are no longer contaminated with death because I have come to give you abundant Life."

The Wedding in Cana also foreshadows the Marriage Supper of the Lamb we mentioned in a previous blog. Revelation 19 Based on the sacred biblical Calendar, this is the 7th Feast - Sukkot/Tabernacles, that comes in the 7th month (Tishrei) and last for at least 7 days. The Red Heifer will appear again to consummate the Purification process that will separate and cleanse the planet from the contamination of death, the carnal mind.

WHY 6 WATER JARS?

What day was Adam created on? Was it not the 6th day? 6 is the number that denotes mankind lacking awareness of his divine nature-therefore, he falls short of the glory. The 6th month of the year is Elul that reminds mankind that he is good for nothing and will be searching UNTIL he realizes he is Not Only Human; but he is DIVINE. Elul teaches us to go deep within to rectify and reconcile areas of our life so that we can STOP living as humans and START living as Gods.

The 6 water jars altogether held about 180 gallons of water for Purification/Separation. When one truly REPENTS he makes a 180 degree turn. The true fruit of Repentance is CHANGE! There is no other way around it. "Be not deceived, God is not mocked..." We can no longer frustrate the message of Grace to have an excuse to live in disGrace. Grow up or you might not make the shift.

Humanity is the water jars waiting to be filled with the living love waters. Many have allowed their lives to be filled with materialism, religious doctrines, hatred, self righteousness, the works of the flesh , etc. I challenge you by the power of the Holy Spirit to empty that junk out of your life, get rid of it NOW. Come before Him empty, realizing your need to be filled. Go deep within, listen and as Mary told the servants, "Whatever he says, do it." (Keep in mind we are not denying that we are already complete in the I AM Presence, however, we must stop making excuses for the ego or catering to it if we expect to Fully Express the I AM).

WATER TURNED TO RED WINE

He desires to fill you with living waters and not only fill you with the living waters of his Word, but He wants to turn it to wine. That means that what you think you know goes beyond head knowledge, memorized verses or things you learned in seminary, a conference or Sunday School. It must become a rhema, right now living revelation; something that not only sounds good but is APPLICABLE to your life.

Wine is symbolic of Spirit, the life force. Wine unlocks secrets and uncovers buried memories. There are secrets and mysteries that the Father has spoken and sealed up within your spirit. The New Wine of the Holy Spirit will unlock or break the seals and flood your being with revelation light and glory. Wine has a tendency to give a coward courage and a fearful man faith. The New Wine of the Holy Spirit is waiting to transform you from the limited human sense of existence to the unlimited divine being you really are.

Today is the 7th day of Elul, we need cleansing daily. We need to get filled up and drunk off the new wine; totally out of your mind into the mind of Christ. You have been chosen for this day, this time to manifest the glory, majesty and power of the Kingdom and age to come. The waters of Separation separate you today making you realize- I AM NOT MY OWN, I AM BOUGHT WITH A PRICE, THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS. The Father/Mother has pointed you out to be a recipient of Love, Mercy, Favor and Grace.

Today I received a video song in the email from Brother Bob P. It brought back many wonderful memories of another life. Another version of me many years ago used to sing Country Music (I know its hard to believe-I can't even fathom it)- this was one of the favorites as we traveled in those days. SECRETS OF THE RED HEIFER - Part 4

SEPTEMBER 7, 2011

Today is the 8th day of Elul on the sacred Calendar. Yesterday we unraveled some of the mysteries surrounding the wedding at Cana as Jesus the Red Heifer crashed the wedding and worked his first recorded miracle of the New Testament. Before we go further, we want to reveal another hidden secret showing that Jesus fulfilled the law of the red heifer at Golgotha.

4 And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times: 5 And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: 6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. 21 This is a lasting ordinance for them. The man who sprinkles the water of cleansing must also wash his clothes, and anyone who touches the water of cleansing will be unclean till evening. 22 Anything that an unclean person touches becomes unclean, and anyone who touches it becomes unclean till evening.� Numbers 19:4-6,21-22

At first glance of reading this, it sounds like a recipe for a magic potion to cast some type of spell. (We'll probably get to that later) Plus, a person was unclean until EVENING. Get this image in your mind. There is a red cow most likely well over 700 pounds, her throat has been ritually slit, blood is gushing everywhere. The priest catches some of the blood in a sacred bowl or as some believe in his left hand. He takes his right hand fingers to sprinkle the blood (7) times before the tabernacle, most likely while chanting the sacred names of God. The whole bloody red cow is now burned with fire facing upward. As the fire gets hotter her belly burst open, then the priest takes cedar wood, hyssop and dyed scarlet wool and throws it into her belly while she and the ingredients burn to ashes. That is radical!!

The last fulfillment of the red heifer in the life of Jesus the Christ was His Crucifixion. Keep in mind the red heifer was not sacrificed to atone sins as the goat was on the Day of Atonement. The red heifer was a cleansing or purification from defilement, those that had been contaminated by a dead corpse. We have passed over from death to life, Christ is our Passover. We are one with Him, Christ is our Atonement. However, on this spiritual journey from time to time we get contaminated by death. The dead corpse of the lower nature, ego, carnal man that's been crucified tries to resurrect. The cellular memory of the illusionary life reminds of a past lifestyle. Therefore, we need the red heifer purification often while on this spiritual journey. At Golgotha Jesus fulfilled the role of the Passover Lamb, Atonement Goat and the Purification Red Cow.

Now lets looks for the 3 mystical ingredients (wood, scarlet, hyssop) used in the red heifer and see if we can find them around the literal crucifixion of Jesus. Did Jesus have to hang there dying from morning to (evening) to fulfill the morning and evening sacrifice and purification requirement?

"Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped him, and put on him a SCARLET robe." Matt 27:27-28

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon HYSSOP, and put it to his mouth. After Jesus had taken the vinegar, he said, "It is finished!" Then he bowed his head and died. John 19:28-30

And we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They put him to death by hanging him on a TREE." Acts 10:39

"Now when EVENING had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus." Mark 15:42-43

Jesus told the religious people of his time that he did not come to destroy the laws but he came to fulfill them. In the Scriptures above we see the scarlet, hyssop and wood during Jesus' crucifixion. All the laws and rituals were fulfilled in Jesus, therefore, there is no further need for a ritual red cow, lamb, or goat.

HYSSOP, CEDAR WOOD & SCARLET WOOL

The ancient people made soap from ashes. The ingredients used with the ashes of the red cow was a literal antibacterial soap to prevent further contamination from coming into contact with a corpse. We have also discovered that it went much deeper and that the ritual was filled with prophetic symbols.

Did the ancients know more than we know today about herbs, colors, plants and trees? I believe they saw life much differently than we do and that they were much closer to nature than we are. They understood the essence of nature and realized that each plant has a frequency, each color has a frequency and by mixing natural ingredients properly one could get awesome supernatural results. This is the work of the apothecary or alchemist.

HYSSOP

HYSSOP has been widely used in mostly all ancient cultures in spiritual rituals and is yet used today. Just like with the Hebrew, it was used in ancient Purification Rituals. The Greeks considered it a "holy herb", used to create "sacred spaces," cleansing rituals and performing magic or what some would consider miracles. It was used in baths and hung in houses to drive away evil spirits. Hyssop was believed to have healing properties. The leaves can be used as an antiseptic or antiviral oil. The mold that grows on the leaves is what makes some penicillin.

What was so important about the Cedar wood and Hyssop that prompted King Solomon the wisest man; also called the Preacher to preach about them? "And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springs out of the wall." 1 Kings 4:33

Did you realize that certain plants and herbs are bound to specific planets and Zodiac signs? Everything in the universe is interconnected. Our elders and the sages knew how to use the things God made to grow out of the earth at specific times and during various phases of the Moon. Without proper education they were about to decipher the mysteries of nature. Sadly, contemporary Christianity can not discern negative occultism or witchcraft from universal truth given by the Creator for all to use and benefit from. When humans learn to live in balance with nature, there wont be any lack and disease will be no more.

CEDAR

Hyssop is under the planetary influence of Jupiter and the element of fire. The Cedar is under the planetary influence Uranus and the element is wind. Cedar is known for its Preservation Properties. After purification we need to be preserved from the figurative insects and things that would "bug" us.

(I just had a memory of my grandmothers beautiful Cedar Chest. She kept her formal wear, a mink coat and valuables in there. I only saw her wear the mink a few times. I yet remember the smell of the cedar was amazing; it protected against mold and insects).

The Egyptians used cedar oil in their mummification process to preserved the dead body. If it can help preserve a corpse, what could it do for the living?

Scarlet Wool. The wool is from a sacrificial animal, the lamb. This represents innocence and purity. But the white wool is dyed scarlet which signifies guilt or sin. Here we have the paradox of (2) natures, the outer stained nature and the inner pure and innocent nature. "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow".

The transformation of the Hyssop, Cedar wood and Scarlet wool takes place in the fire, in the belly of the red cow. Our transformation takes place only as we abide in Him and allow the fires of the Holy Spirit to purge and preserve us.
